Here are a few of the most recent web projects.
The Northwood Baptist Youth site was a branch site of the main church. The colors and style were matched to the actual facility where they meet. I wrote an Expression Engine plugin for this project to bring the organizations Facebook Page updates directly into the site.
McCall Music Studio needed to communicate with their current clients and promote to potential clients. Since the operator was already using Facebook for her business, I tied the site to her business' Facebook Wall. The end result is that when she updates her Facebook status her site also gets fresh content. A nice unified approach to her web presence.
LinguaServe is a Russian to English document translation service based in Central Asia. They wanted a dual language site that allowed the end user to select the language. TextPattern was used to power the site and allows the office staff to edit the site content in both languages. The staff editors can choose their language of choice for navigating the backend of the system. Since I speak no Russian, this required a tremendous amount of collaboration and had some interesting challenges but it was exciting to work on.
Northwood Baptist was a huge project. They needed multiple people to edit content with various restrictions and needed to provide custom information to logged in viewers. That plus the volume of content and highly fluid nature of the content were challenging. I utilized the highly flexibile and customizable ExpressionEngine to handle the content, multiple editors, and the rotating content.
Spiritual 2-A-Days is a small non-profit with the goal of mentoring student athletes. They needed a site and they needed it be a certain deadline - football season. Once again I turned to TextPattern to fuel it. It was a whirlwind and took a lot of collaboration but their site made it live...just before kickoff.
Herald and Stewart wanted a web presence that was simple and easy for them to maintain. Their number one feature request was a digital version of a funeral registration book that everyone attending signs. A simple lightbox photo gallery was implemented to show off the facilities.
